Salman Khan finally speaks on Sooraj-Jiah relationship

Salman Khan, who is reportedly upset about his name being dragged into Jiah Khan and Sooraj Pancholi’s story, has finally spoken up on this issue. The ‘Dabangg’ star has rubbished all the rumours of advising Sooraj on his private life.

 Speaking to a leading daily, Salman said that he never recommended Sooraj’s father Aditya Pancholi to intervene in his son’s relationship issues and that he finds his name being unnecessarily used in this case. He also said that he sympathises with Jiah’s bereaved family, but the charges framed by Jiah’s mother against him were absurd.

"I was not even aware of Suraj and Jiah`s relationship. I got to know of it through a news magazine," Salman Khan said.

The 47-year-old actor, who is said to launch Sooraj Pancholi in his home production, also said that he needs to think about his own life and has no time to meddle in other’s matter.

Salman Khan’s name was first mentioned by Jiah Khan’s mother Rabia in her statement to the police. She said that Aditya Pancholi was not happy with son Sooraj’s relationship with Jiah, and he also spoke to Salman Khan about it, who allegedly tried to persuade Sooraj to break up with the actress. 

Rabiya also said that Salman was cool when Sooraj told him that he loves Jiah.

Arbazz Khan Parties with Shahrukh Khan

The stories of rivalry between Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are not new to anyone, but all this doesn’t seem to have cast any effect upon Arbaaz Khan.
 
According to reports, Salman’s brother was spotted partying hard with Shah Rukh Khan at a recent party in Ritesh Sidhwani’s house.

Ritesh and Farhan Akhtar had organised a special screening of ‘Fukrey’ on Sunday. The invites were sent to Shah Rukh as well as Salman but since the latter was shooting for his upcoming movie ‘Mental’, he couldn`t attend the party.

However, Arbaaz attended the screening in place of Salman.

“SRK and Arbaaz were very warm and cordial with each other. Arbaaz had earlier mentioned how he would love to work with King Khan,” a source said.

If rumours are anything to go by, the two Khans not only saw the film together but even went over to Ritesh’s place after the screening for a get-together.

“After the screening was over, the guests directly left for his place for the party which went on till the wee hours of the morning. Shah Rukh Khan however had to leave early owing to his bandaged shoulder,” another source said.

Salman Khan Reject to do Intimate Scene in 'Kick'

Salman Khan – who had made a no-kissing rule when he made his Bollywood debut – seems to be a man of his word in following his work ethics.


According to a leading daily, Salman – who is otherwise a ladies’ man off screen – bluntly refused to do an intimate scene with his leading lady Jacqueline Fernandez in Sajid Nadiadwala`s directorial debut ‘Kick’.

If rumours are anything to go by, the script required Jacqueline Fernandez to seduce Salman, who passes out on the sofa in one scene, but the most eligible bachelor of Tinsel Town felt that the seduction scene would look cheap.

In fact, Salman apparently even called up Sajid and asked him to remove the scene or re-work it. Well.

Interestingly, Shah Rukh Khan – who also followed the no-kiss rule for over two decades in Bollywood – made an exception for ‘Jab Tak Hain Jaan’ and locked lips with Katrina Kaif.

Who will be Rajshri's next Leading Lady for Salman Khan ?

Filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya has finalised Salman Khan for his next family drama, but he is yet to choose a leading lady for the movie.

"We have shortlisted few names and Anushka Sharma is in the wish list. But it`s too early to comment anything as the film will go on the floors in 2014. Besides Anushka even Sonakshi Sinha is being contemplated for the role," a source said.

The film, to be produced under the banner Rajshri Productions, will be widely shot in Rajasthan and Gujarat and it will be prepared for 2015 Diwali release.

Salman has earlier worked with Sooraj in blockbusters ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’, ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun!’ and ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’.

Salman Khan’s Shooting for `Kick` to begin from this July?

Shooting for Salman Khan’s much awaited project ‘Kick’ has reportedly been preponed by the actor and he will start shooting for it next month.


Salman was initially supposed to start shooting for the movie in October or November.

According to a tabloid, the movie, which is going to be directed by Sajid Nadiadwala, will go on floors from July 24 onwards on Salman’s insistence.

Some sources have said that Randeep Hooda has been roped in for a meaty role in this upcoming project.

“Kick was supposed to start towards the end of the year. However, a few days ago Salman called Sajid and told him that the film would now go on the floors in July instead and even allotted him dates,” sources said.

The sources also asserted that the film’s cast and crew will get special privileges from the British government in terms of shoot locations.

“Some major action sequences are being planned on the streets of London for which action directors will be flown in from LA. Some streets in the city are expected to shut down for the shoot. London’s mayor Boris Johnson met Sajid recently and extended his full co-operation,” source added.

Nadiadwala also confirmed the reports by saying, “I am looking forward to the schedule in July. And yes, Randeep is part of the project.”

Here’s something that will put all the speculations surrounding the host of ‘Bigg Boss’ season 7, to rest. And Salman Khan’s fans can now throw a party, for there’s big news in store for them.

According to reports, the unprecedented King of Blockbusters – who has been signed to host the coming season of ‘Bigg Boss’ - will be taking some time off from the shooting schedule of Sajid Nadiadwala`s ‘Kick’ to shoot for the promo of the reality TV show next month.

If rumours are anything to go by, the show will go on air in September 2013.

Earlier, there were reports that arch-rival Shah Rukh Khan might replace Salman as the host of the 7th season of one of the most popular reality shows on TV, but it was later confirmed that the channel airing the show had signed Salman for its next edition.

“Shah Rukh was never considered for Bigg Boss. It is only Salman who could get the show amazing TRPs. Salman is also happy with the production team and has signed to do the next season,” a source close to Salman had said.

This will be the 4th time that the 47-year-old superstar will be hosting the show. He has hosted ‘Bigg Boss’ from the 4th Season, which is one of the main reasons for the show’s popularity. Other Bollywood stars to have hosted the show are Shilpa Shetty, Amitabh Bachchan and Arshad Warsi.
